The Nomad Essentials story started in 2008 at our home in Melbourne, Australia.

We were itching for adventure…
So we decided to take a few of our bag designs to some friends in Indonesia and find out

- The Aussie Connection:

Dean & Marnie’s backgrounds are in Engineering and Leather Craft. Marnie has been making amazing leather crafts for nearly 15 years and brings a passion for quality craftsmanship to all our gear. Deans engineering skills means he spends most of his time trying to break things then work out why it broke. Great for quality control. We love doing what we do and making the most functional and hard wearing canvas bags and travel gear.

- Our Quality Guarantee:

We only use high quality 100% Cotton 14oz Canvas or 12oz Canvas Suede depending on the style of bag.
All our Zippers and sliders are YKK. The #1 quality zipper on the planet.
All plastics parts (buckles & retainers) are Acetal (POM plastic), an incredibly strong thermoplastic.
All our products are stitched using high density Nylon thread.

- Cleaning:

All our Canvas products are washable.
Add a dash of mild natural detergent into some cold water and soak for a couple of hours.
Avoid any heavy chemical detergents.
Rinse in cold water.
Air dry in the shade.
